The Edinburgh Global Research

who aims at studying in the UK. The University of Edinburgh grants scholarship
for the Ph.D. Research Programs in any discipline the university offers. The
scholarship covers the tuition fees of the students but does not cover any
living expenses. The deadline to apply for the scholarship is of 01st
February of every year.

Gates Cambridge Scholarships
The University of Cambridge is
considered one of the best universities in the UK and across the globe. The
university got its first biggest donation of US $210 million by the Bill and
Melinda Gates Foundation. The scholarships are granted to the meritorious
students from countries outside the UK. The scholarship is available for
masters and Ph.D. programs present in the university. The Gates Cambridge
Scholarship does not include any undergraduate degrees, part-time courses,
non-degrees programs. Also, programs such as MBA, MFin are not covered in this
scholarship.

Scholarship is a fully-funded scholarship that covers each and every monetary
need of the student. The last date to apply for the Gates Cambridge Scholarship
is January of every year.

Rhodes
Scholarships at University of Oxford
The Rhodes scholarship is among the most esteemed
scholarship program in the world. Under this scheme, only the students who are
interested in taking up the postgraduate programs at the University of Oxford
are aimed. The grant majorly covers the complete tuition fees of the university
and also offers two economy class airfares. The first one is for the arrival of
the student at the university and the second is at the time of departure to
their home country after completing the approved course duration. The students
to get this scholarship must fulfill the basic requirements of their age,
residency, and education. In terms of education, students must show their
meritorious educational background. Age is also considered as a main
requirement wherein, the students between the ages of 18 to 28 years are only
eligible for the Rhodes scholarship. The deadline for the Rhodes scholarship
varies from country to country but the last date is mostly around July-October.

Commonwealth
Scholarship for the International Students
The commonwealth scholarship is open to each and
every student coming up from the Commonwealth countries. This scheme is administered
by collectively by 53 countries. The scholarship is promoted by the Department for International Development. The Commonwealth
scholarships are presented to programs like all doctoral degree programs which
last up to 3 to 4 years and to master programs having tenure of one year. The
grant covers the applicant’s tuition fees, living expenses, and the airfares
for the arrival and the departure of the student in the country. The streams
that the commonwealth scholarship covers are agriculture, applied and
theoretical science, engineering and technology, and social sciences.
